Other Resources
PATH actively supports two major outreach and press mechanisms for technology through ToolBase and EnergyStar. ToolBase.org provides easy access to the most credible and relevant technical information in the housing industry. Information can be accessed by major topic, subject, or by the subsystem of a house. ToolBase is a service of the NAHB Research Center, funded by private industry and the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development through PATH.
ENERGY STAR is a dynamic government/industry partnership that makes it easy for consumers and businesses to save money and protect the environment. Programs offered by ENERGY STAR for the home include labels on energy-efficient products, labels for energy-efficient new homes, showing consumers how to save 30 percent or more per year on energy bills, and other home improvement tools that increase the comfort and energy efficiency of homes.
